Dee Garcia is a magnificent writer. While reading, I was completely and utterly invoked into a trance of Volatile Obsessions. The story line was FANTASTIC. I swear the last one hundred pages had my eyebrow raised and my mouth agape. Those last 100 pages took me on a ride, my god. I couldnt believe where Dee took the novel, that wasn’t what I expected from the beginning. The book already makes you NEED to keep going, but those last pages, get you. Dont plan anything for the next hour because YOU WILL NEED TO FINISH THE BOOK!🙈😈 Also, an aspect I couldn’t get over was the Spotify playlist that was to be played while reading. It was a whole new experience! I cant believe how different, yet amazing Dee’s writing is. This is my first novel by her, and I am officially a huge fan.

The main character Luz was perfect. She was relatable, hilarious, and bitchy as hell; I LOVED IT. Seriously, probably one of my favourite characters ever, she had some comedy to her, but oh god, a total badass. Like... where do I sign up to be Lux? 🙋🏽♀️Now Rome? The King? Oh lord- I would allow this man to captivate me as well. The guys was a total (sexy as sin) badass, seriously. The way he introduced himself to Lux was a little insane, but made it so much more alluring to his character. He definitely didn’t have a care for anyone; he would hurt anyone that got in his way. Protecting what he loved which was just himself; until Lux. And the side, yet also main characters (?¿) Vic and “Moxie” JESUS CHRIST. If you like having some shady af characters, well here they are!
