This book literally gives it all. If you are expecting normal romantic Colleen, you best think again because here is the darker, thrilling, and more intense Colleen. I read a quote recently that says: “A book can destroy you.” And HOLY CRAP, is that not the most significant quote to this novel. I am mind boggled, I actually dont even know how to form a coherent review because this book was blood-tingling, dark and entriguing. Its nothing like I have ever read, but if I could find more Romantic Thrillers I would LOVE to read them😩😍😭

I haven’t felt this with a book in a while. I was seriously screaming and putting the book down every few chapters. I feel every time Colleen comes out with a new book I am left with the worlds best book hangover. The characters were out of this world literally. I was completely intrigued by Verity, but also scared shitless. Lowen was a smart and intelligent girl, being a writer, she knew in her heart something. Jeremy was interesting and also intriguing like his wife... I guess thats what brought them together... 😉

This book is going to grip you, you will feel as if the air around you is tickling your skin, but rather it is tightening around you. You wont expect a thing, because when you think you do, the unexpected happens. After chapter 20 is what will get you, you wont see it coming, but when it comes, get ready to be in a mixture of confusion and bewilderment.
