This was my first novel by J.D. Hawkins and although I wasn’t completely consumed by it, I will definitely read more of J.D’s books!
——————————————————————— I always love a book that goes outside the usual CEO theme and a cocky chef seemed like the perfect outside! 😉 This book had a climb to it, at first I was really enjoying it and I was waiting for something I dont know what, but it never came! I enjoyed this novel regardless, I loved that it was outside standard theme and dealt with two chefs; one successful and the other trying. ——————————————————————— Willow had had to deal with two kinds of heartbreak one with a man and the other with her career. She sets off to LA in hopes of eventually successfully achieving her dreams. What Willow didn’t realize is how fast her dreams were coming for her. Cole was a successful chef, owning almost two restaurants and having multiple tv appearances- he knows exactly what he wants and he will not let anyone get in the way of that. He already had to deal with enough Knives. He meets the amazing Willow and realizes shes not only an amazing chef, but an amazing person.
