“Yes, I was a closet 80-year-old, and no, I didn’t give a shit what anyone thought about that.” ——————————————————————— After my last few reads, I needed something relaxing, with some swoon worthy romance, and a lot of laughs. Emma Hart definitely served it all with Catastrophe Queen. I read this entire novel in almost one sitting and I absolutely adore every minute of it! ——————————————————————— I was expecting your typical tension when it came to being hired to work for your boss, but my god this was just as delicious. Mallory and Cameron’s relationship was everything! Their comments towards each other and the unmistakable heat was everything. And the towel scene? Ai-yai-yai 😉 This was the perfect romantic comedy, especially because of Mallory’s family, I couldn’t stop laughing with their remakes. All these characters worked together so well and made this novel irresistible. They all added to the comedy of the novel, with both Mallory and Cameron’s family? Oh yeah, you bet your ass you were going to laugh! 🙈 ——————————————————————— Mallory is your typical, beautiful brunette... except shes not, shes literally a klutz. You will get the best laughs from her totally sassy and personable attitude. I absolutely ADORED her, like I dont think I could get enough of Mallory! And Cameron? What a sweetheart, who also has just enough sass to match Mallory! He was able to stick it up to Mallorys family like a pro, I was taken aback! These characters were seriously meant for each other. Although it took a little while for them to fully get into each other, this was a great novel🙈 ——————————————————————— By the end of this novel I was thoroughly satisfied. All I wanted was a Rom-Com and Emma gave it to me❤️
